This is a draft. It will apply when the Drobyn wardrobe opens, and it may change before then.
In short
You can cancel a paid plan at any time, and it stops renewing. You keep what you paid for until the end of the current period. Payments for a period that has already started are not refunded, except in the cases below or where the law requires.
This policy is part of our Terms and conditions. Drobyn™ is run by Payasi Technolabs Private Limited.
Cancelling a plan
Cancel in your account settings, or write to support@drobyn.com from the email address on your account. Cancelling stops automatic renewal straight away, so you will not be charged again.
Your paid features stay until the end of the month or year you have paid for. After that your account moves to Free forever, and nothing in your wardrobe is deleted.
If you pay with UPI Autopay, cancelling in Drobyn also cancels the mandate. You can also cancel a mandate in your UPI app; that stops future renewals in the same way.
Free forever and the free trial
Free forever, including its 7-day trial, costs nothing and never asks for a payment. There is nothing to cancel, and the trial never turns into a paid plan on its own.
Upgrading or moving to a smaller plan
An upgrade starts straight away and is charged in full. The unused part of your old plan is not refunded.
Moving to a smaller plan, or between monthly and yearly billing, takes effect at the end of your current period. Nothing is charged or refunded until then.
When you get a refund
You get a refund in these cases:
Charged twice, or charged by mistake: the extra amount, in full.
A paid feature unavailable for more than 72 hours in a row because of a problem on our side: the part of your plan covering the time it was unavailable, if you ask.
We take away something central to your paid plan: the unused part of your current period, if you cancel.
Wardrobe Filler within 7 days of buying it, as long as none of its items have been used: in full.
Anywhere else the law gives you a right to a refund.
When a refund isn’t given
For a month or year that has already started, including the unused part of a period when you cancel or close your account.
For allowances you didn’t use, such as snap and add items or virtual try-ons. They don’t carry over to the next month.
For a Wardrobe Filler once any of its items have been used, or after 7 days.
When we close an account because our terms were broken.
How to ask for a refund
Write to support@drobyn.com from the email address on your account. Include the date and amount of the payment and, if you have it, the transaction ID from your payment receipt.
We reply within 2 working days and tell you whether the refund is approved.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back to the payment method you used, through our payment partner Cashfree Payments, within 7 working days of approval. Your bank or card issuer may take a few more days to show it. The GST you paid on that amount is refunded with it.
We can’t pay refunds in cash or to a different account.
Payment problems
If you see a payment you don’t recognise, or something looks wrong, write to support@drobyn.com before raising a dispute with your bank. We can usually sort it out faster.
